KINGDOM message

“Gratitude for life”

TRAINING BELIEVERS TO TRANSFORM THE WORLD

We continue our  sermon series called "Kingdom Message" when we have a deeper gratitude to the Lord for saving us, we become motivated to want others to have that same life.

We will examine Jonah chapter 1 through 2. We are compelled by God's love to want others to share that life with us. That was God's plan for Jonah. God wanted to birth revival in the city of Nineveh and Jonah was his agent.

We invite you to join us Sunday morning at 10:45 am at our location on Stevens Ave. across from the Quality Shop.

We will be live here on Facebook and on our website.

Live-Stream will begin here this Sunday morning at 10:45 and on Facebook.

“What’s Holding You Back?”

Training Believers to Transform the World

Message Scripture:

Jonah 1:17-2:4 NLT

This scripture is broken out under each point.

1. SPIRITUAL PASSION: v27-28

After Jesus left the girl’s home, two blind men followed along behind him, shouting, “Son of David, have mercy on us!” They went right into the house where he was staying, and Jesus asked them, “Do you believe

I can make you see?” “Yes, Lord,” they told him, “we do.”

Acts 20:24 NIV Matthew 5:6 NIV Psalm 34:6, 8 NIV

2. SPIRITUAL INSIGHT: v29-31

Then he touched their eyes and said, “Because of your faith, it will happen.” Then their eyes were opened, and they could see! Jesus sternly warned them, “Don’t tell anyone about this.” But instead, they went out and spread his fame all over the region.

     1 Corinthians 2:9-10 NIV Matthew 5:8 NIV 1 Corinthians 2:12-14 NLT

3. BREAKING SPIRITUAL SILENCE: v32-34

When they left, a demon-possessed man who couldn’t speak was brought to Jesus. So Jesus cast out the demon, and then the man began to speak. The crowds were amazed. “Nothing like this has ever happened in Israel!” they exclaimed. But the Pharisees said, “He can cast out demons because he is empowered by the prince of demons.”

Children come to the church for this great journey.

After receiving shoebox gifts, many children are invited back to participate in Operation Christmas Child’s discipleship program, The Greatest Journey. Through this 12-lesson course that includes Bible stories and Scripture memorization, they learn how to follow Christ in their daily lives as they share Him with friends and family. More than 26.5 million children have enrolled in this program since 2009.

We will be teaching this discipleship program and providing your children with an opportunity to give to a child in another part of the world by packing a simple shoebox gift. They will receive a certificate of completion and New Testament upon graduation.
